Imagine Children’s Museum

Whiting spent the past month, mostly Saturdays and evenings, painting a mural inside the Imagine Children’s Museum parking garage. The 26-year-old, who has a bachelor’s degree in illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design, approached the museum and volunteered his talent, equipment, and time.

[Roger] divided the wall into five separate topics: history, water, space, art and technology. The result is a parking garage that is now inviting, colorful, child-friendly and in keeping with the purpose of children’s museums, which is to encourage creativity, imagination and learning through play.
